HOUSTON, TX — Mohr Partners, Inc. announces the opening of an office in Houston, appointing Lance McCarthy and Kevin Barr as Managing Partners.
Collectively they possess over three decades of experience in commercial real estate and bring a strong team of experienced professionals who have had tremendous success in both the local Houston market as well as national platform transactions.
Mr. McCarthy brings over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. He began
his career with Dailey Petroleum in 1994 in the real estate and facilities group. Subsequently, he moved on to Enron Corp. where he managed the Enron Corporate Real Estate Department for five years. During his tenure at Enron Corp., he was responsible for strategic real estate decisions across the company’s business units around the world, totaling more than three million square feet. Having worked as both an in-house corporate real estate executive and as a real estate advisor focused on representing tenants, Mr. McCarthy provides a unique understanding of corporate real estate strategic planning. Prior to forming his own firm, Mr. McCarthy was with both CB Richard Ellis and Studley, focusing on tenant representation of global corporate services clients.
Mr. Barr is a recognized leader in the Corporate Real Estate Advisory Services field and
brings over 16 years of extensive experience representing primarily Fortune 1000 and above clients on their strategic portfolio planning, corporate headquarters transactions, lease re-negotiations, build-to-suits, sale-leasebacks, dispositions, portfolio re-positioning, expense audits, financial analysis, value engineering and capital procurement. Prior to joining Mohr Partners, Kevin was President and CEO for Palermo Barr Corporate Realty Advisors and Managing Principal for Barr McCarthy for over a decade. Both firms had deep specialties in corporate real estate advisory, with clients that demand complete attention to detail with a strong understanding on the unique characteristics of their business and industry in which they reside.
