Dallas, TX, October 28, 2026 – Mohr Partners, Inc., a leading global occupier-focused corporate real estate advisory firm, announced that California American Water has occupied its new headquarters facility at 700 Riverpoint Dr in West Sacramento.
The private utility company, which provides water and wastewater services across California, is relocating its headquarters from San Diego to Sacramento. The company has signed a 15-year lease for 38,350 square feet at Riverpoint Corporate Center, with an option to purchase.
Located on nearly six acres, the Class-A Riverpoint Corporate Center is a new single-story development with quick access to Downtown Sacramento, Sacramento International Airport and Riverpoint Marketplace.
“This new facility represents our long-term commitment to the Sacramento region and the City of West Sacramento,” Kevin Tilden, President of California American Water, said. “It’s where we have our largest group of customers and employees, and where many of our key stakeholders are based, and where we’re planning our future together.”
Robin and Michael Leamy and Peter Berg of Mohr Partners represented California American Water in the transaction.
The landlord on the transaction is Buzz Oates, one of the premier developers and landowners in the Sacramento region.
