Dallas, TX – (August 27, 2015) – Mohr Partners, Inc., a global corporate real estate advisory firm, is gearing up for the Annual Mohr Partners Golf Classic, which will be held at the Topgolf Dallas location (8787 Park Lane) on Thursday, October 8th, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Each dollar given to the Mohr Partners Golf Classic goes directly to Jonathan’s Place, helping abused and neglected children in North Texas.
Mohr Partners is delighted that this upcoming event has already surpassed the amount that was raised in 2014. With 42 days left until the event and very close to achieving the financial goal of funds to be raised, Mohr Partners and Jonathan’s Place supporters are hoping to exceed the goal in 2015. Jennifer Norris, Managing Principal at Mohr Partners says, “We are very excited about the support we have already had for this incredibly fun event for an extremely deserving organization. Last year was the first time we tried the TopGolf format and it worked out really well for golfers and non-golfers. We are looking forward to having another great event and hoping to see some new faces as well in our efforts to support Jonathan’s Place.”
The Las Vegas-themed event will feature a live DJ, competitive games, food, prizes and a silent auction. Teams of six players will compete in the tournament while enjoying complimentary beer and wine. Tickets are $150 for an individual and $750 for a team of six. Sponsorships begin at $1,000. Jonathan’s Place was the first licensed foster group home in Texas for drug-addicted babies and small children and is the only emergency shelter in Dallas County for abused children from newborn to 17 years old. Proceeds from the golf tournament will go towards funding Jonathan’s Place programs that helped 11,105 children last year through its emergency shelter, residential treatment for girls, foster care and adoption programs, and runaway prevention partnership with National Safe Place.
In addition to the title sponsorship of this event, Mohr Partners has sponsored Jonathan’s Place for over nine years, committing resources by allowing its associates time off to visit the cottages and planning fun activities throughout the year for the children. Additionally, Mohr sponsors Easter and Christmas parties annually where Mohr associates contribute items for the event such as Easter baskets, candy, toys, clothing and other items to ensure the children receive gifts and are not forgotten at these special times of the year.
