Mohr Partners, a global corporate real estate advisor, announces that Gregory Krzysko, Managing Director in Mohr’s Detroit office, was a featured speaker at the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) Winter CPE Mega Conference for Industry held at Laurel Manor Banquet & Conference Center in Livonia, Michigan on February 19. Designed specifically for professionals in business and industry, this conference offered sessions on new topics and the latest information that affects businesses with sessions in accounting and auditing, ethics, taxation and technology.
Leading the Optional “Nite Owl’ Session, Mr. Krzysko presented a course entitled Lease Economics – Unlocking the Hidden Value in Contracts. The course topics included presenting opportunities to capture company value through proactive real estate asset planning in dynamic real estate and capital markets; real estate market cycles; interest rate environment; mergers and acquisitions together with increased dynamics in operations; optimizing company real estate portfolios by taking advantage of swings in both the real estate and capital markets; and increasing clients’ profit through a myriad of solutions that position leased and owned real estate assets in concert with overall business objectives.
Mr. Krzysko brings over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate with such firms as Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, UGL-Equis and Sears Roebuck, providing and implementing strategies that have aligned his clients’ business requirements with real estate solutions to achieve their business objectives. Throughout his career, he has leveraged capital markets to provide unique real estate solutions that enable clients to rationalize capital, decrease cost, improve flexibility and enhance financial performance.
Prior to joining Mohr Partners, Mr. Krzysko was Senior Managing Director of Finance with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank working with a broad array of clients nationwide. Early in his career, he gained substantial experience in the development of a wide range of strategic business plans while serving as a key member of the corporate financial staff of a Fortune 10 company. As a member of the management team advising the CFO, he recommended strategic acquisitions, corporate restructuring, alternative financing structures and multi-million dollar real estate transactions.
Mr. Krzysko received a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University specializing in management, strategy and finance. He also received a Bachelor of Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Civil Engineering.
