Mohr Partners Represents Lamar Advertising on Office Lease Extension
June 20th, 2018 | Press Releases
DALLAS, TX June 20, 2018 – Mohr Partners, Inc., the world’s largest wholly owned commercial real estate advisory firm exclusively focused on representing tenants, announced the lease space renewal and extension of the Arlington office of Lamar Advertising at 625 109th St. Mohr Partners has assisted Lamar Advertising for their last three new lease extensions and renewals of the company’s approximately 20,000 square-foot office/production space. Managing Director Matt Burton and Managing Principal Stephen Hemphill of Mohr Partners have represented Lamar Advertising for the past ten years and Principal John Brewer of Transwestern represented the property owners.
“We are proud to again be the firm assisting Lamar Advertising as their real estate representative, working to obtain this lease agreement, meeting the firm’s real estate requirements,” said Robert Shibuya, Chairman and CEO of Mohr Partners.
Founded in 1902, Lamar Advertising is one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in North America, with more than 348,000 displays across the United States and Canada. Lamar offers advertisers a variety of billboard, interstate logo, transit and airport advertising formats, helping both local businesses and national brands reach broad audiences every day. In addition to its more traditional out-of-home inventory, Lamar is proud to offer its customers the largest network of digital billboards in the United States with over 2,800 displays.
“It was a pleasure working with Mohr Partners and Matt Burton, securing for the landlord a long-term lease commitment for our property,” Brewer said.
“We worked hard on behalf of Lamar Advertising, achieving for them not only a competitive renewal lease rental rate but also securing for them almost $200,000 in needed tenant improvements to their existing lease space,” said Burton. “The firm’s office/production space needed some inside and outside remodeling and refurbishment, which the property ownership provided as part of the new lease. All in all, we were pleased with the outcome and professional partnership with Transwestern Services negotiating this new lease for Lamar Advertising.”
The new lease will take Lamar through February 2023.
