Mohr Partners Expands Detroit Office, Appoints Michael Morgret as Associate Director

DETROIT, MI —(October 28, 2014)—Mohr Partners, Inc. announces the expansion of Mohr’s Detroit office, appointing Gregory Krzysko as Managing Director and Michael Morgret as Associate Director. Messrs. Krzysko and Morgret are based in Chicago as a satellite of Mohr’s Detroit office which is led by Mitchell Lipton, SIOR, Managing Principal; Randall Tarnow, Esq., Managing Partner; and Mark Bowman, Esq., Managing Partner.
Mr. Krzysko brings over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate with such firms as Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, UGL-Equis and Sears Roebuck, providing and implementing strategies that have aligned his clients’ business requirements with real estate solutions to achieve the client’s objective. Throughout his career, he has leveraged capital markets to provide unique real estate solutions that enable his clients to rationalize capital, decrease cost, improve flexibility and enhance financial performance.
Prior to joining Mohr Partners, Mr. Krzysko was Senior Managing Director of Finance with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank working with a broad array of clients nationwide. Early in his career, he gained substantial experience in the development of a wide range of strategic business plans while serving as a key member of the corporate financial staff of a Fortune 10 company. As a member of the management team advising the CFO, he recommended strategic acquisitions, corporate restructuring, alternative financing structures and multi-million dollar real estate transactions.
Mr. Krzysko received a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University specializing in management, strategy and finance. He also received a Bachelor of Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Civil Engineering.
Joining Mr. Krzysko, Mr. Morgret brings an in-depth understanding of capital markets and their relationship with corporate real estate, developing solutions that have aligned his clients’ real estate portfolio with their business and financial goals to achieve broader business objectives. Mr. Morgret has advised clients in structuring build-to-suit projects, lease advisory and cost reduction, raising money for capital improvements, portfolio planning and management and exit strategies.
Prior to Mohr Partners, Mr. Morgret was an Associate Director with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. One of his recent accomplishments included advising a large multi-unit restaurant operator on a system wide remodel. With a portfolio of owned and leased properties, and a capital constrain, he provided a comprehensive review and analysis of the client real estate portfolio and each stores unit level financials. Through this review, Mr. Morgret was able to recommend a strategy to execute the remodels by utilizing a variety of capital market approaches to achieve the remodels at no cost to his client. This resulted in the client saving over $5 million in capital expenditures year one with similar savings forecasted for the next 5 years.
Mr. Morgret graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master of Science in Biochemistry, and from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
