Patrick Kelly is a Director at Mohr Partners Inc., based in the firm’s Cleveland office where he focuses on energy analysis for the company’s occupier clients. With nearly 40 years of experience in the energy sector, he provides services centered on energy efficiency and sustainability.
He brings a deep background in energy technologies, sustainability strategies and economic development, along with a solid understanding of electric transmission and distribution systems, utility operations and regulatory and government affairs.
Before joining Mohr Partners, Patrick spent nearly 40 years at FirstEnergy, one of the nation’s largest electric utilities, retiring from the company as Director of Economic Development. During his tenure, he worked closely with energy-intensive clients and led the company’s economic development initiatives for more than 20 years.
He has developed a wide network of professional relationships at the national, state, regional and local levels, supported by years of engagement and volunteer leadership. He previously served as President of the Utility Economic Development Association prior to his retirement from FirstEnergy.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Business Management from Kent State University.
