Michael Russo is a Business Development Associate in Mohr Partners’ Dallas office, working on Managing Principal Stephen Hemphill’s brokerage team.
In his role, Michael supports the team’s business development and client acquisition efforts through market research, prospecting and outreach to corporate decision-makers on behalf of the firm’s tenant representation practice.
Before joining Mohr Partners, Michael served as a Legislative Fiscal Analyst at the Alabama Legislative Services Agency in Montgomery, where he conducted fiscal and policy analysis of proposed legislation, prepared fiscal notes and briefing materials for committee deliberations, and drafted legislation and amendments to translate policy objectives into statutory language. Prior to that, he interned with Southeast Gas’s Economic Development Division, where he developed a certified industrial site program to promote gas-ready sites and attract industrial investment across 36 Alabama communities.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Auburn University at Montgomery, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Department of Economics Outstanding Student Award. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Economics at the same institution.
